My name is Tim Pokorny and I’m an based in Perth, Western Australia.
I love my camera. It doesn’t say nasty things to me or ask the world of me, it just sits there, waiting patiently for some quality time. I find photography powerful, compelling and invigorating. Being a decidedly average painter, sketcher, writer or other artist in general, photography is my creative outlet; something to feel passionate about. My ultimate goal is to create something that has an impact on you. I haven’t figured out how yet.
My first love is landscape shooting. I always fall for the mountains, feeling constantly drawn to them. I don’t climb or ski. I don’t hunt or fish. I just feel at home there and want to share the world that I see with you.
